Available Positions

Are you looking to find a career? We are passionate at ScrogginsGrear about our mission and look for those committed to sharing and promoting our values.

ScrogginsGrear is not an employment or staffing agency. We are a consulting firm serving healthcare, nonprofit, and privately-held clients. When there is an employment opening with one of our clients, we complete the initial interviewing and screening processes at our office. It is a service we provide to our clients. Some of the openings may be internal as well.

Employee Spotlight

Gil Linz

Gil has been a valuable member of the ScrogginsGrear team for 20 years, and in the industry for 45 years. (If you ask him, he’ll tell you he started when he was 10. 😊)

We can always count on Gil to be a positive influence around the office. His willingness to always lend a hand, combined with his endless supply of jokes and quick wit, make him someone everyone enjoys working with. He even published his own joke book last year and is currently working on a second edition. When he is out of the office, Gil enjoys listening to great music and running half-marathons. With a busy work schedule, Gil shares, “Morning prayer is something I do consistently that is impactful for me. Life is a gift not to be taken for granted, and morning prayer reminds me whose day today really is.”

Maybe when Gil slows down, he can visit two places he has dreamed of—The Holy Land and Rome. Here’s one more fun fact about Gil: If Gil could switch jobs for the day it would be with St. Peter so he could welcome people through the pearly gates. Trust me, he would do a great job with that, since Gil greets everyone each morning with a smile.

Q. What motivated/inspired you to follow this path?
A. My parents and grandparents all chose to lead organizations that developed and challenged people to grow daily. I guess that’s formed in me the drive to wake up every morning anticipating opportunities to inspire hope within the lives of our clients. I want to help them grow to be wholly themselves at home and work. I look forward to learning with them and igniting new ways of thinking and acting to drive their success forward.

The work isn’t complicated; it’s just hard. Nothing will happen until a leader has the courage to pause and reflect personally, deciding to do the hard work within themselves first before anything else.

Q. What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
A. Put your family first. Always remember that every decision you make affects the people around you.

Q. Do you have any hobbies?
A. 4 kids 😊, guitar, singing, running, carpentry/building/remodeling, shooting sports

Q. What advice do you most often give your children?
A. Take ownership for yourself and your actions, work hard, be kind, serve others, and don’t take yourself too seriously.
